Mark Ciagne, MD
Born in Yuma, Arizona, and raised in Bloomington, Minnesota, Dr. Ciagne always had a passion for science and helping others. He graduated cum laude from the University of St. Thomas with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and went on to attend medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2007. A proud member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, Dr. Ciagne’s dedication to excellence was evident from the start.
Dr. Ciagne completed his General Surgery residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis in 2012. During his residency, he discovered a deep interest in vascular care, particularly in how minimally invasive surgeries and endovascular procedures could revolutionize patient care. The ability to perform complex procedures with little to no downtime for patients was a game-changer, and it became a central focus of his practice.
Since then, Dr. Ciagne has dedicated himself to serving the Minnesota community. He believes that patient care should be as individualized as possible, working closely with each person to develop a tailored treatment plan. His approach centers on making sure his patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healthcare decisions.
Staying on the cutting edge of medical advancements is important to Dr. Ciagne has given many lectures on vascular disease and presented at national conferences.
When he’s not in the operating room, Dr. Ciagne enjoys Kung Fu, skiing, cooking, and spending quality time with his family, embracing the balance between a fulfilling career and personal life.
