Our PA-C & CNP Team
Physician Assistants (PA-C) and Certified Nurse Practitioners (CNP) are essential to iSpine Clinic’s mission to provide exceptional pain management care and support our Twin Cities patients in their chronic pain journey.
A physician assistant-certified (PA-C) is a graduate of an accredited physician assistant educational program who has undergone testing by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. They go through 8 years of post-high school education, and are state-licensed to practice medicine with a supervising physician.
A Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) is a registered nurse who has advanced education and training in a particular area, such as pediatrics or family practice. The educational background of a CNP includes a Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) graduate degree, as well as board certification in their specialty.
PA-C’s and CNP’s at iSpine Clinics help to assess, diagnose and treat, assist and/or perform injection procedures, order imaging and prescribe medication.
