Vein Care

Treating Varicose Veins & Chronic Vein Disease

While chronic vein disease affects more than 40 million people in the United States, less than 2% receive treatment each year.

If you have varicose veins coupled with leg pain and/or swelling, iSpine Clinics vascular experts in Maple Grove, Minnesota are here to help. Minimally invasive procedures are available to help seal the diseased vein, rerouting blood to healthy veins and helping relieve symptoms before they turn into an acute issue.

What is Vein Disease?

Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) occurs when blood in the veins doesn’t flow back to the heart. All veins have one-way valves, and when valves in the legs don’t function correctly, blood pools and cause superficial venous reflux. Without treatment it can result in varicose veins and swelling that can lead to more advanced stages of vein disease such as leg pain, skin changes and ulcers.
