I have been seeing Michelle Davis for about 5 years now. She always listens to my concerns and explains everything so I can understand and make the right choice. I was in a bad accident last year and a different doctor ordered a MRI and told me that they didn't see anything. But I was still having severe pain in my chest so I went to see Michelle and she took the time to look at my MRI and said "something doesn't look right " as it turns out I had a fractured sternum!! 3 years ago, I hurt my tailbone, but then I started having issues with my foot and leg. It has gotten a lot worse over these three years. I have seen countless providers. I have even paid out of pocket for a full body MRI. A vascular doctor sent me to Dr. Boeding. Dr. Boeding was the first provider who took the time to listen to my issues, he didn’t look at me weird when I told him my weird analogies when I try to explain how my leg and foot feel. Most of all, he made me feel heard and seen. I think that is the biggest take away. He validated me. I haven’t had that in so long. After I got in my car, I cried, but they were happy tears. I’ve been having problems with back pain & muscle spasms since 2013. I had 5 prior back surgeries due to work injuries which included 2 levels fused. I would have several severe flare ups every year causing me to end up in bed and also depended on a wheelchair and or a walker. I have been to many places and have seen many Doctors who have done imaging and told me my Fusion’s look to be solid and they didn’t see anything new above my Fusions. I felt like they didn’t take the time or really listen to what I was telling them. I’ve also been to many Pain Clinics and had many therapeutic injections every year which gave me some relief but just never lastedI. They wanted me to try a Spinal Cord Stimulator which I was very reluctant to getting. May of 2020 I was out walking which I’ve been told by many Doctors to keep moving. It was very windy that day and I fought the wind on my way home straining my back which landed me back in bed and also depending on the wheelchair and or walker again. I had spent many months in bed and just wasn’t getting better. I had heard then about Ispine through my Husband’s Aunt & got a referral. I had seen Dr. Boeding, along with Alyssa in January 2021. They took the time to listen to my whole back history including how the injuries happened which was very crucial to my case considering I had prior back Fusions. They also helped me with a better pain coverage plan to help me get through. After reviewing the imaging and my whole back history they figured out the problem to be the SI joints which made sense to me because of the type of injury I had after my Fusions. Dr. Boeding also has been going above and beyond to get the diagnostic testing approved by Work Comp to verify his findings so that I can have the surgery I need to get my life back. I am so very thankful for Dr. Boeding and Alyssa for their knowledge, and compassion for helping people and being there for me to help me through this. This was my first visit to iSpine. This doctor was very personable and got right to the point in his questioning. Initial screening was done by a paraprofessional staff member as is normal now days. Evelyn was very friendly and professional. Doctor P. did not minimize my experience of chronic pain, nor talk down to me, but ordered an MRI "to see what's going on", plus offered a non-narcotic medication to mitigate my acute symptoms which has helped. I began symptoms of degenerative disc disease (aka osteoarthritis) at age 40. Since then, I had 2 steroid injections in my low lumbar back from Dr. W. in 2017 (my age 43) and Dr. P in 2022 (my age 48). I chose to be sedated with anesthesia, opposed to being awake during the injection, because I would've worried and had anxiety while listening to the surgical crew communicating during the procedure. Both procedures I was in and out of outpatient within 2 hours. Both injections were effective in relieving my excruciating lumbar back pain that was debilitating, causing me to be depressed, and radiating through my entire body when I sneezed. It is unusual to go 5 years pain free between injections, but I also fiercely protect my spine with low impact excercise, no lifting, keeping a manageable body weight, and wearing thoughtful shoes. Entire staff is friendly and professional. I appreciate that the go-to recommendation is not surgery or billing for everything possible. The approach at iSpine is conservative pain management. I was able to express why I was at my appointment, and it wasn't just for a larger dose of a pain pill. Yes, I'm in more pain than I was two months ago. Even more than I was one month ago. But my specialist I saw that day clearly explained to me how I can benefit from from more nerve block injections; which I've clearly benefited from before, and a new treatment for me. A spinal cord stimulator that I've heard good things about. Update: 4/12/22 I've been through my trial period with my spinal cord stimulator and now I'm almost through my first week with the permanent implanted stimulator. I gotta tell you I'm enjoying the benefits through my neck all the way to my knees. It is so comfortable I don't even know that it's on most of the time. Jason displayed unusual energy and creativity in helping me complete a 1031 exchange. When first contacting him, I had a strategy in mind that was similar to the one that I used 10 years ago during my last 1031 exchange. Jason took the time to understand my investment objectives, and suggested a different strategy that he believed would better meet those objectives. He then suggested some DSTs that had the characteristics of that revised investment profile. The DST that I found most attractive had minimal availability; it was almost completely reserved. Jason made the unusual effort for me to satisfy my objectives by contacting the Trustee/Asset Manager of that DST to inquire about the possibility of the Asser Manager bumping current reservations that were not meeting their commitments for performance. I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Nueralgia, an excruciatingly painful facial nerve problem.Dr.Wolff successfully treated my intense pain with injections into those nerves. My pain was unbearable and the treatment he and his team provided worked, is such a releif. I have multiple severe health conditions (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, MCAS, shoulder, neck and spine disc issues, chronic pain syndrome, gastroparesis, interstitial cystitis, Fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism and so many others) and I require many health care specialists. I see Alyssa monthly to treat my pain. Alyssa is absolutely amazing and I am so blessed to have found her. I have seen quite a few pain providers at different pain clinics in the past and I’ve often left feeling ashamed about my health, as if I had a choice or I was doing something wrong. Not with Alyssa. Chronic pain is not a choice. EDS is not a choice. Alyssa understands chronic pain and is so compassionate about it. Alyssa is highly competent in every aspect of treatment from medication plans to reading MRI’s and coming up with a plan, or identifying an injection that will help or referring me out to another provider when needed. She also allows me to make decisions on my healthcare, giving me options for treatment. On top of all of that, and best of all, Alyssa is compassionate and caring. Dr Ronald B Boeding is an amazing doctor! I have scoliosis, lower back problems herniated disc‘s and the list goes on. This is a part of my life, and to be able to have good doctors that can really take care of you is hard to find. Well I found that doctor at I spine!! Not only is Dr Boeding very nice looking, he’s a great doctor. I go in for back injections for extreme pain and I get so much relief. Although shots hurt a little Dr Boeding does a great job and he makes it all worth while, just knowing Im going to go home and be almost pain free for a good amount of time is awesome. Dr Boeding is amazing! My eighty three and a half year old mother was unable to walk because of her pain over a year ago and had lost the will to try any longer... along with her will to live, because the pain was terrible! We met with Dr Boeding and she can now walk a little bit, she is not always confined to the wheelchair, she enjoys cooking in her kitchen can get into and out of bed on her own and go to the restroom with out assistance all because her pain is effectively being managed. I am so happy that I was referred to Ispine. I have seen multiple providers and all of them have been great! I have my medications managed by ispine and also have had multiple procedures and injections done. They have always made me feel so comfortable and at ease through this really hard time. I feel like they actually care and want to see me get better. I was honestly worried after reading reviews before going. There were some that mentioned they felt like they were treated like "junkies". I have never had that feeling here, not once! My only complaint is a slow response time on messages from the nursing staff. I have had a couple of instances where it'll take a full business week to get an issue resolved. If that issue is fixed, I wouldn't hesitate to update to 5 stars. Edit: I updated my 4 to a 5 because I feel the call response has improved. The fastest responses are through the app Helow. This review is based off of my 4 visit with Dr. Wolff. iSpine is by far, one of the best clinic I have been too. I went here for a nerve ablation and was very nervous about the procedure due to a bad experience with a similar procedure when I was younger. Dr. Wolff was very patient, understanding, and professional each and every time. In regards to his technical skills, he is also amazing. I barely had any pain at all during my 3 procedures and recovered really quickly. He targeted the nerves correctly and accurately and I had 0 complications. After years of joint problems, joint replacements, lumbar and cervical fusions I finally was referred to Dr. Ward for pain Management! He gave me pain meds to help curb the pain until I have the next cervical fusion surgery. Then he suggested trying the neurostimulator for my lumbar pain before I get it fused again after .y neck's done. That would be so awesome if I didn't have to get my low back fused again!!!! I went first to Another place (starts with Minneapolis) and it was the worst experience, a nightmare. Then I went to ISpine Clinic in Maple Grove. It was amazing they took care of me like I was a real person. Dr Jason Wolff was amazing. He double checked everything plus personally came in to meet me before the procedure. He also told me step by step what they were doing when doing the injection in my neck. They then had me in a recovery room ( the other place didn’t) the dr at other place didn’t even come in to talk to me before the proceedure. She sent her assistant in! Dr. Ward has changed my journey through this life! For over 15 years I have had significant pain throughout my cervical and lumbar spine. Diagnosed with fibromyalgia, many physicians overlooked my concerns and tried to prescribe more and more meds for that condition. After many years of refusing meds my PCP said that there was really nothing more she could do for me if I refused the meds she was prescribing.... I have been a patient of Dr. Parmele's for over seven years and won't go to any other pain management clinic than iSpine. I live 120 miles away from the clinic but only trust Dr. Parmele with the procedures that are done to help relieve the arthritic pain that I have that is caused by psoriatic arthritis and will continue to drive this distance to see him. First place to take my back issues seriously in 10+ years. Can't count how many times I've been told there's not much we can do. Ispine made a plan and it helped a ton immediately. Wish they had a family practice! I gave up on doctors trying years ago with many issues. Happy to at least have my back issues handled. I was very skeptical at first after seeing specialists at other practices. Specialists you have to wait months to see and get a follow up with. So glad I made the appointment with ispine looking back now. I pay a ton for health insurance. Nice to actually be using it and getting help - not more referrals! Dr Wolff & Michelle Davis where especially helpful. Ordered procedures/tests that gave me answers and relief faster than countless doctors over the years. I would say the only complaint is how the prescriptions are written - hard to get them filled when needed. Pain is up and down - some days good, some days really bad. But that mostly falls under regulations. I have yet to take this up with the doctors so honestly can't push blame on them. Lastly - I can't say enough how much the steroid injection works. It didn't immediately, took a few weeks. Also some days are still pretty bad but I'll take having good days and bad days over all bad days.. any day! :)Patient Submitted Review

So many pain doctors are harsh, cold, and un-caring. Not the doctors here at iSpine. Dr. Wolff is the warmest, kindest, and most compassionate pain doctor I have ever worked with. After my back surgery, he took over my pain control. He takes his time with you and really explains your options. He also listens to your concerns and takes your needs into account, unlike other doctors who think they know best and don't listen at all. I cannot recommend Dr. Wolff enough. He had a plan for me, and sees me weekly, no matter how full his schedule - he always fits me in. If you are a long time pain patient like me, iSpine will treat you with the respect that is so rare in this profession. However, if you are a drug seeker faking pain for medication - look elsewhere - they're not stupid. Also, beware, Pamela, the nurse practitioner who takes appointments, is a cold, rude woman - more like your typical pain management practitioner. Avoid her at all costs if you don't want to feel belittled and insulted by someone who isn't even a doctor. Get an appointment with Dr. Wolff, and you will be so happy with your care!
